Well, that went relatively quickly. At least I have the pics cropped, leveled and sent upline to my Flickr Dragon*Con 2005 photo set page. Almost 200 pics, but sadly most of them are untagged as for content, only event and location.

This is where you, my viewing public, can help out! If you're on my Flickr friends' list, you can add tags to my pics that you think need one or more. I heartily encourage this. The better tagged the pics are, the easier other folks can find them.

The house is silent. Everyone's gone. The only sound is the Redoubt and the loud clacking of my keyboard.

Its a relief.

I'm home, the Con is, restfully behind me. Now, to revivify, recoup, and prepare for the next week.

It feels weird to jump back in the saddle and create a podcast again, but it really didn't take all that long, and the technical aspects flickered back to life in my head given only the tiniest bit of nudging. So now its being sent up to and processed by Archive, and if I'm lucky, it'll actually complete by the time tomorrow morning rolls around.

I hope.

A lot.

I'll hold off on posting the track list until its up, and then it'll be in the usual place, but this podcast is laced with the best, juciest bits of Dragon*Con lore, bands, and references. And if you tune in for me, I talk a good near-10 minutes out of the 52min of the whole thing, so there's all the Squid you ever wanted.

Heather can blame her influence for the following.

It appears that Mike and I have sat down and actually planned out the feeding schedule for each and every day of Dragon*Con. We know when we're eating. We know where we're eating. We even know that we already have reservations. If that doesn't go beyond the crazed pale, I don't know what does. Its like the madness of Saint George, without the religious overtones.

Yes, there are even lunches scheduled in there. Fear the disturbing planning.

I'd like to note that there are several reservation slots open for Trader Vic's, before the Con on Thursday night. We're planning on ordering the Luau, which runs $40 a person, plus drinks. If you want to join the incredible insanity, plan ahead and hook up with us. The more the merrier (and the more short ribs I get to snake out from in front of folks).

In fact, the general plan is for dinner to run about $40 a person. This is the Good Eats Con if ever there was one, this year. More company is always desirable. Just let one of us know before go-time, preferably several hours before, in case reservations have to be shifted, and we'll see to it.

I'm getting hungry already.
