Has anyone tried to listen to the Redoubt through Peercast?
Aside from a definite lag between the update of the song titles and the song itself, did you find it was working just fine, or glitchy? Sync problems or smooth as silk once it settled? Did you see anyone else start pulling an outbound feed of the station from your node, or did you even have relays turned on?
Something like this has to become the norm if there's going to be any kind of widespread ability for real-time feeds to become sensible. Just like using BitTorrent for podcasts, its a technology that makes the more folks wanting access to a given resource at once a strength rather than a huge drain on your wallet indirectly through your bandwidth.

Later: Oh, incidently, http://yp.peercast.org/?type=*&bitrate=med&genre=* is the Yellow Pages URL for Peercast. Not a lot of competition ... surely we can push me up higher than 17th. :)
