Or, more explicitly, I'm feeding the Redoubt out through both P2P-Radio and Peercast, as a sort of comparative thing. The difference this time is I'm hosting both on the Windows side, which is DMZ'd, so ports shouldn't be an issue.

Give one or both a whirl for the next day or so and get back to me on how they work, your experience, etc. One or the other'll become our standard broadcast method, because, frankly, eventually this thing'll become too big for my measly 384kb output pipe to carry along with my other interests.

Don't worry, the direct icecast feed of multiple bandwidths isn't going anywhere. No fear. At least for the moment.

Ah, the delicate position of the broadcaster. You want more listeners, but you fear they'll swamp your bandwidth. Its a sad state of affairs.
